Hello, I'm Heather,

Welcome to my world that I love! How did I get here?

I began my love for photography at a young age. I watched my grandfather always have his 35mm Canon camera around his neck. I used to always beg him to play with it. I just wanted to keep clicking the shutter button, until the film ran out.

 After graduating from high school I decided to attend college and go after what I love, which is photography. I graduated with a bachelors degree in fine arts. I have been working with portraits, weddings, events, and more for over ten years. I love taking photos because they capture so many memories. It is an amazing art that I could not live without. 

Here is a little more into my life...I have been married to my amazing husband for five years. We have two sons Carson and Connor, they have filled our hearts full of love. We have a dog named Oshie who has a TON of energy. Our family is a die hard Washington Capitals fan. I am also a high school special education teacher. My students mean the world to me and they bring a lot of happiness and fun into my life.

When I work with my clients, I want to make sure their memories are special and I give them something that will last a lifetime.  Having photographs to share and look back on is what I love helping to provide. This is why being flexible, and working with you one on one is very important to me.  There are so many milestones throughout life, capturing those are important. I like to make sure you enjoy your session and it goes smoothly for everyone involved.
